Thank you for this glimpse into your lives. Excellent writing and I hope there will be a way for those of us not part of your real life to continue enjoying your work. Bon Voyage.

Hi Donna, as a new, slightly lost and bewildered arrival in a foreign country, I came across your blog many years ago and have been silently following ever since, never commenting but eagerly reading every new post. I suppose I should have seen this coming, but the jolt of sadness I felt was unexpected. Thank you so much for the entertaining, thought-provoking and well written posts throughout all these years - it has been a real pleasure "knowing" you. All the best to you and your family.

Likewise, I've greatly enjoyed following your writing, here and elsewhere. I'm sorry to see you go but hope to cross paths sometime (also FS). Best wishes for the future.

I have followed your blog for a number of years - I am a former military spouse and you brought back so many memories. Your writing brought me to tears at times but always managed to touch and brighten my day. Seeing the world through the eyes of you and your family was incredible. I will miss checking in to see what new and wonderful things have been going on. I wish you and your family all the best and hope that down the road we will be able to read more of your adventures. Thank you for bringing the far corners of the world a little bit closer.

I have been following this blog since the first inklings of pursing a career and family in FS. I have always found it insightful, funny, and comforting - thank you for your wit and humanity! Best of luck and hope to see more from you somewhere in the world!
